CEC Security Incident Letter

 Dear Parents and Guardians, 
 

As you may be aware there was an incident at the High School last week. We found similar graffiti today at CEC. The graffiti was vague and non-specific. Safety measures were quickly put into place. The Chillicothe Police and Dr. Kinney, District Superintendent, were immediately notified. Faculty and staff were put on an all-school alert, lockers were checked, and we have arranged a police presence for today and tomorrow.  First and foremost our student’s safety is our top priority. We are comfortable that the proper security measures have been taken to have school continue as usual. A letter will be sent home with each student and an email will be sent via edline. If you have any questions, please feel free to call either Ms. Pointer or Mr. Auge.
